Q.  What is included in the packages?
A. Your room, meals and spa services are included in the packages. Click on the links on the left of this page to see the services each package includes.

Q.  Are there travel options other than utilizing the Spa's airport pick up service?
A. Yes, you can take a taxi to the Estación de Autobuses Observatorio, about an hour from the airport in Mexico City. Purchase your taxi ticket inside the airport terminal, do not arrange for your own taxi, it may not be a reputable service. At the bus station purchase a ticket for a direct bus to Ixtapan de la Sal on the Tres Estrellas Bus line. Buses run hourly between 7 am and 7 pm, about 1 1/2 hour trip. Once in Ixtapan de la Sal take a taxi to the spa. Budget about $40 total for bus and taxis.

Q.  How much is the bus from Toluca, Mexico?
A. The bus is about $10usd and they run hourly between 7:30 am and 11:30 pm.

Q.  Is there a Spa Orientation when I arrive?
A. Even though guests may begin their stay any day of the week, there is a Sunday orientation at 8:00 pm at the Spa's Sport Center. For all other arrival days, please proceed directly to the Spa Reception Desk on the 5^th floor to schedule your program for the coming days. Spa hours are 9:00 am to 7:00 pm every day.

Q.  Are there hairdryers in the room?
A. Yes, and also make-up mirrors.

Q.  Are there irons and ironing boards available?
A. No, not in the rooms and not on loan. But an ironing service is available.

Q.  Are there bathrobes in the room?
A. Robes are not in the room, but available while in the spa area.

Q.  Are there in-room safes?
A. Most rooms do have in-room safes, if not, check with reception for this service.

Q.  Do the rooms have bathtubs and showers?
A. The rooms have only showers, no bathtubs.

Q.  What beds are in the rooms?
A. Standard rooms have two twin beds. King beds only available with a Masters Suite upgrade.

Q.  Will I need an adapter to plug in my cell phone recharger or other electrical device?
A. An adapter should not be needed. Electrical current in Mexico is the same as in the USA and Canada.

Q.  What are checkin and checkout times?
A. For your convenience there are no set checkin or checkout times at the spa.

Q.  Do you have stays longer than a 4 night or 7 night package?
A. Yes, for instance you could select a 7 night package then add addtional nights with meals at the Ala carte rate. Additional spa treatments can also be added ala carte. Of course, 21 and 28 night packages are also available.

Q.  Is there a money exchange service at the spa?
A. Yes, and you can also exchange money at the Mexico City airport.

Q.  What is the temperature?
A. Year-round temperatures average a balmy 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Year round the days usually are in the 80's with nights cooling to the 50's or 60's.

Q.  What is the altitude at the Spa?
A. About 5879 feet or 1791 meters.

Q.  Will my cell phone work at the spa?
A. The spa has cellular reception with Telcel. Check with your own cellular provider to see if your phone should work at the spa.

Q.  Can I used my laptop at the spa?
A. The spa does not have wireless service, however is has a computer room with computers with internet access. Small fee applies.

Q.  When do I schedule my treatments?
A. Once you arrive at the spa you can schedule your daily treatments at the Spa Reception Desk on the 5^th floor. Spa hours are 9:00 am to 7:00 pm every day.

Q.  How do I join the morning walk?
A. The morning walk departs daily at 7:00 am from the lobby. Coffee and juice are available before and after the walk, which is approximately 2 miles.

Q.  How do I join the water aerobic classes?
A. These classes are offered in the Emperors Pool at 10:00 am and 12:00 noon (subject to change).

Q.  What is the Yoga class schedule?
A. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:00-9:00 am.

Q.  What is the low-impact aerobics class schedule?
A. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 8:00-9:00 am.

Q.  My package states 3 golf/tennis lessons. What does that mean?
A. You can select either golf or tennis lessons, for a total of 3 semi-private lessons/clinics during your stay. If you would like to add more lessons budget $20 for tennis and $25 for golf (subject to change). If you don't want to bring your tennis racquet or golf clubs, they are available for rent at the spa.

Q.  I do not need the golf or tennis lessons. Can they be traded for something else?
A. We are sorry, they cannot.

Q.  Is the caddie and cart fee included in the golf package?
A. No, only the greens fees are included, there is an additional charge for the caddie and cart fee. See our rates.

Q.  Is acupuncture available?
A. A medical doctor is available for private acupuncture consultation and treatment sessions for an additional charge. Schedule at the Spa Reception Desk on the 5^th floor.

Q.  What is the dress code in the restaurants?
A. The "Teocali" spa restaurant is casual whereas the international restaurant "Cúpula" is dressy.

Q.  Where do we dine for the spa meals included in our package?
A. Breakfast and Dinner are served in the spa dining room "Teocali". Lunch is served outside (weather permitting) at the pool terrace "Emperadores". All spa cuisine choices are offered to support a meal program of reduced calories.

Q.  Is alcohol served in the restaurants?
A. Yes, but for an additional charge.

Q.  Are there scheduled evening activities?
A. Each night at 9:00 a movie is screened in the theatre "La Opera". Also bingo is played there at 8:00 pm. Tuesday through Sunday there is piano music in the lobby bar and on Saturday a string quartet playing in the "Teocali" dining room. Schedules are subject to change.

Q.  How long are the massages?
A. Regular and Shiatsu massages are 50 minutes. Reflexology is 30 minutes. Hot Stones are 90 minutes. Tai massages are 60 minutes.

Q.  How long is the drive from the Mexico City airport?
A. It is about 2 and 1/2 hours between the spa and the Mexico City airport. The distance from the Toluca airport is about an hour.

Q.  What are the rates for a private pick up at the airport?
A. Rates can be seen online here. Please note that rates are subject to change. You will pay this fee at the spa (excluding special group rates).

Q.  Is there an ATM at the spa?
A.No, there is not, but they are available if you take a 10 minute taxi ride to Banamex or Santander Bank.

Q.  What is the cancellation policy?
